What to do 2 months before the wedding - Wedding Friends

via

Tick tock! Time is flying and you're only 2 months away from saying 'I do!' Those butterflies are probably settling in slowly. Here are the last 5 items to take care of during the 2 month build up to the wedding as adviced by Pretty Perfect Events, the premium event specialists!

1. Send out RSVP reminders

This is optional and dependent on how your rsvp tally is looking. If you have had a good response so far then you can touch base with outstanding rsvp's a month before. However if you haven't had as many replies as you'd like and still want to invite a few extra people then feel free to prompt your guests here.

2. Make all beauty treatment bookings

Facials, waxing, nails, massages - whatever you've decided on for your pre-wedding pamper routine make these appointments now. We're sure you would like your nails done the day before you set off for the wedding venue so to avoid disappointment make these appointments early so that you know they have been secured. In the next few articles we'll outline when each beauty treatment should take place but as a rule of thumb have your hair coloured 2 weeks, facials 1 week before (only if you've had the same treatment previously and know you won't break out!) and waxing/massages/nails a couple of days before.

3. Review playlist with DJ/Band

If you've got specific songs you'd like played during your reception be sure to review this with your DJ. Similarly, give him/her a list of the important songs you'd like played (walking down the aisle, first dance etc) and make sure they have these songs on file. If they don't a quick purchase on iTunes can solve that.

4. Write/decide on vows

Start thinking about the words you're going to say to your fiancé! Your marriage officer/minister will usually have a few options for you to look at that you can alter to suit you as a couple. If you'd like to write your own vows - great! Just make sure you rehearse them a couple of times so that nerves don't take over.

5. Buy your accessories

Another fun item to tick off the list! We're sure you have a vague (or not so vague) idea of what accessories you'd like to wear on your wedding day. If you would like to purchase something new for the big day then start shopping around now so that there is enough time for you to find something you really love.

You're getting close to wedding day! Enjoy the last 2 months - happy planning.
