Grasse is a beautiful area in Provence, filled with rolling hills, stunning villas and secluded farmhouses, making it a desirable location for a destination wedding in Provence. Today's couple Christina and Julien fell in love with the area and with the help of their wedding planner Elegance in France, found their ideal venue in Bastide St Mathieu.

They choose the location in Provence as they wanted a warm, rustic and friendly atmosphere and that is exactly how the day turned out. It was perfectly organised from start to finish by Sandrine of Elegance in France, from the intimate ceremony under a "carnation shower" and poolside cocktail to the delicious diner on the terrace followed by a night of dancing. ;)

Destination Wedding Photographer Catherine takes us through their big day: " Christina from America and Julien from France met 7 years ago in a french shoe shop and have been inseparable ever since, from travelling the world together to cosy evenings in.
It was decided to use as main colours beige, for the flowers white and light green with a touch of blush pink (to match the bridemaids dresses). For the natural feel simple materials were used such as linen, raffia and rosemary. "
