How to Get the Perfect Model Off Duty Hair

We all know that the amazing hair and makeup we see on models strutting across the catwalk is courtesy of an arsenal of top-notch beauty pros hanging in the wings. But, how do these models still manage to look effortlessly perfect off the runway? Who's responsible for those street-chic looks? Truth is, the model-off-duty look is not hard to achieve. The key to this simple-but-fabulous look is all in the hair. Want to know how to get it too? Read on!

Step 1. Section off the top half of your hair and use a hair clip or elastic band to keep is separated from the bottom half.

Step 2. Starting at one side of the head, take a two-inch section of hair and wrap it around the barrel of a one-inch curling iron. Hold the last inch or two of hair with your fingers and keep it separated from the heat.

Step 3. Repeat this with every other section of hair. Do not curl all of your hair!

Step 4. After the bottom half is finished, repeat this method with the top portion of hair, again making sure to leave every other piece of hair untouched.

Step 5. After you're done curling, gently shake and fluff your hair with your fingers. Finish the look with a texturizing spray like Garnier De-Constructed Texture Tease.
