How to Make Hot & Cold Bags - Sew - Handimania

via

I've got some tremendous news for all chilly people like me. A week ago I tried my Cozy Handwarmers, and they worked fine in -10 Celsius degrees. But to tell you the truth I've just discovered another warming up gadget which I somehow overlooked during my search for small square bags for my mittens.

Lori of 'Bee In My Bonnet' came up with an ingenious idea to make a bigger and longer version of these excellent bags. She uses the same materials as in handwarmers, but the larger bag versions serve as neck, shoulder or backache 'heaters'. Isn't it brilliant? Lori tells that the bags also make miracles on hot days, but you need to put them in the freezer first.
