Once we were inspired to build an Igloo, but the work required so many skills that ours was not so perfect as the one we had found on the Internet. Yet, we still believe there's no better thing than winter outdoor activities both for kids and adults.

As the winter has finally come, and it's hitting hard, we find the weather perfect for Colorful Icicles by Tammy of 'Housing A Forest'. She came up with an excellent experiment when the temperature is below freezing. Her idea was to make a small hole in a bottle and thread some strings through it. Then the bottle was hung at the top of the ladder and filled with colourful water. In the end, the water dripping down the strings gave a beautiful effect of a colourful ice castle.
