Leading the pack with their exquisite designs and other-worldly photoshoots, Pearl & Godiva, have carved quite a niche in fine-art weddings and styling. Highly conceptualised and fashion led, their photoshoots use a unique visual language which is both organic and avant garde, layered with iconography and suggestions of a narrative that breathes life into the imagery. Their photoshoots and event designs tell a deeper story, arouse emotions, and spark a fire in the belly.

Last October in the stunning surrounds of Lisnavagh House and Gardens tucked into the rolling Irish countryside the designer duo opened their doors and hearts to their process of creation. Their philosophy is to define your own visual language, driven by each artists own natural instinct, and to be true to that voice with work that is never too over-thought or contrived. Pearl & Godiva certainly put their own spin on style, and thus remain completely unrivalled in the industry. At their, aptly named Styling Pilgrimage, they vow to teach you this state of the art epiphany that is behind their success, along with everything they know during their highly sought after 3 day workshop.

Come live with me and be my love, And we will all the pleasures prove, That Valleys, groves, hills, and fields, Woods, or steepy mountain yields. And I will make thee beds of Roses And a thousand fragrant posies A cap of flowers, and a kirtle Embroidered all with leaves of Myrtle

~ Christopher Marlowe

From Pearl & Godiva: "The editorial we created for our attendees and lead photographer Erich McVey drew upon the mysticism and intangible magic of our Irish countryside. We found inspiration in the faery world of our native stories passed from generation to generation over a crackling fire. Some of which were immortalised a century ago by the great William Butler Yeats and his voice is as powerful and evocative now as it was in that foreign but familiar time.

We brought this nymph to life, she is unearthly, arcane, and noble. A child of the wilderness, she is both simple and complex, ageless yet ancient, and created of the earth as a glorious expression of it's rustic perfection. Her smile is pure and inviting, drawing you to her and the promise she holds..."

You can revisit PART 1 of the Stolen Child from the Styling Pilgrimage here. Would you like to join us this Autumn in Corsica with film photographer Tec Petaja? In the historic surrounds there will be lots of time for both hands on styling and shooting for all attendees, with Pearl and Sheena imparting all our knowledge, tips and influences throughout the duration. The fee includes airport transfers, meals and lodging at the venue and course materials (except film).
