Step inside this beautiful soft and chic fall wedding inspiration and get swept. This inspirational wedding shoot is the perfect mix of glamor and whimsy.

It's the little details that really make a wedding memorable and there are tons of those on display in this shoot. One of our favorites are the enchanting butterfly terrariums, complete with DIY instructions so you can make them yourself! Pampering station for the ladies

The words I would use to describe this wedding are: glamorous, chic, whimsical, soft and romantic, and completely unique through the use of some special decor items we used to adorn our feature areas with. Our inspiration for this styled wedding shoot was the Art Deco era, through the use of a local fashion designer's showcase studio. We used the studio to feature a glamorous beauty/pampering station and an elegant industrial ceremony space, complete with crystal chandeliers, floor to ceiling antique mirrors and a beautifully rusted cast iron gate.

Whimsical autumn aesthetic

The outdoor setting features a sweetheart and sweets table, that both embrace whimsy and elegance through the use of soft colors, vintage woodland creature figurines, hand-made butterfly terrariums, and not to mention classic French pastries. We chose a color combination of seafoam and dusty rose, with pops of gold, brass and deep purple to embrace the natural outdoor autumn aesthetic.

DIY Terrarium Tips by Kimberlynn Irvine of Actias Terrariums
1.Shop at local thrift stores and flea markets for cute glass containers.
2.Mason jars or candy dishes paired with vintage tea saucer plates make an adorable pair!
3. Collect dried flowers, foliage and natural elements for your terrarium. It doesn't have to be expensive - go for a nature walk and see what you find!
4. Make sure everything is dried and moisture-free or your terrarium will fog up.
5. Glue guns and wire are your best friend. Make sure everything is glued securely for a montage that will last for years.
6. Use your imagination! What makes my Actias terrariums unique is that I use dried butterflies that I find at markets and garage sales.
You can virtually use anything to make it your own. Have fun with it!
