Silver and Gold Save-the-Dates

Silver and Gold Save-the-Dates

via

You want to send your save-the-dates out early, but sometimes you haven't nailed down a precise theme or color palette. You don't just want to send plain white ones, and it's not like you don't have any idea about your wedding vision. That's why I love the new foil-pressed line of save-the-dates from Minted. They incorporate a little bit of metallic in all different styles, so even if you haven't already picked out your invitations or sketched out every centerpiece, you can find one that matches the vibe of your wedding.

Above, these golden arrowheads are simple and gorgeous. And this could go well with just about any modern or traditional wedding. You don't need to incorporate arrows into your wedding decor-this design is decidedly "vague" enough to avoid that. In fact, these would also be fun to send out around Christmastime. With a golden glow, it is timely and appropriate, no matter what your wedding's colors turn out to be.

Below, this striped floral with metallic highlighting is fun and bold and just a skosh over-the-top. Pick these when you know that your wedding is going to be a modern meets shabby chic meets glam garden affair (and by the way, that description is going to make perfect sense to the bride that needs these).

If you want to play it neutral for now, go with these lovely silver on gray save-the-dates (below). They are sweet and simple and could fit any wedding's theme and style. So much better than plain, bland white, they also come in golden hues.

Have a great engagement photo and a terrific sense of humor? Then this witty little save-the-date should be just your speed (above). Let your friends know that this might just be the wedding of the year, bad dance moves and all.

And then there are the truly modern brides. For those chic divas, it's all about the black and gold with a strong emphasis on font. This save-the-date above is stunning, creative, and totally on-point for 2015.
