We're so incredibly excited to be sharing with you today a special project that Wedding Sparrow is a part of in 2015. We love meeting the industry's best vendors out there and we travel all over the world to find the best of the best especially to recommend to our brides. So we're excited to share that some of Europe's best talent is coming together to share their knowledge, learn from each other and create magic in the heart of Provence on 27th-30th April 2015 at Light Workshop. Sound like this is something for you? Read on...

' Light' is an all-inclusive 4-days film photography workshop held in the heart of Provence. Lead by film wedding photographer Greg Finck, it addresses wedding photographers from around the world, who want to further push the use of film, or wonder about switching their digital photography business to film.

'Light' gathers a selected team of some of the best European wedding vendors, who will be there to speak, design and style beautiful things for you to shoot and upgrade your portfolio. Alongside Sara from Wedding Sparrow there'll be Lavender & Rose Weddings, Rime Arodaky, Branco Prata, La Mariée aux Pieds Nus and Richard Photo Lab and these are just some of the names that will be there to make of this experience a durable investment on you and your business.

Held at fabulous Les Domaines de Patras, in the heart of scenery Provence, 'Light' will immerse you in the Provence relaxed lifestyle. You will learn, share and be inspired during 4 days surrounded by lavender fields and
olive groves, and will enjoy the outstanding organic food and wine made by our own chef.

From film wedding photographer Greg Finck: "Over the past years, the interest for wedding photographers to partially or totally turn their business from digital to film as grown bigger. The American and Asian markets are definitely one step above Europe on this topic, and European clients get more and more attracted by the look of film everyday. Wedding blogs and magazines have started to specialize in relaying film images only. This is for instance the case of Wedding Sparrow, named best wedding blog in the UK, which exclusively showcases highend film wedding photographers. Even though shooting film is easy, it still requires mastering some technical fundamentals, and the financial constraints behind it. The philosophy behind Light was to create a holistic team with some of the best European vendors in its area of expertise. I wanted Light to be a forum for wedding photographers to learn about the technical aspects of shooting film, but also to share and be inspired by amazing wedding vendors, who have succeeded in their own area, whether this is bridal design, wedding styling, floral, hair of makeup design. It was also really important to me to have the physical presence of Richard Photo Lab, the world-leading lab in the wedding industry, to explain how your lab can be your key business partner and how it can play a significant role in your business model. As Provence light particularly fits film photography, I couldn't think of a better region to run that workshop. We will be immersed during 4 days in the Provence easy lifestyle, learning, sharing and shooting in the middle of olive groves and lavender fields, and enjoying delicious organic food and wine made by our own chef. Join us at Light Workshop and @lightworkshop on Instagram."
