Kathleen and Thomas met as procrastinating first year students at McGill university. They each missed the deadline for residency, forcing them to live in a tiny accommodation off campus. "It turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to us," Kathleen exclaims.

For their wedding day, the pair focused on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, accenting their 18th century barn venue with a colour palette of sage, cream, and gold.

The dancing began with "You're My Best Friend" by Queen, capturing the spirit of the couple's relationship in its lyrics. The bride adds, "The night ended with a crazy dance party featuring an amazing playlist put together by some of our best friends. It was an incredible day full energy, fun and love."
