For the WWW editorial shoot I really wanted to create something a little different for the guest book. The inspiration behind the shoot was nature, woodland and natural materials.

I felt this went hand in hand with a spiritual feel. So catching guests dreams for the married couple I thought would be a lovely sentiment.

Using natural materials I created this rustic dream catcher guest book, which can be used as a lovely keepsake post wedding too :-)

Here's how to make it...

Bendy branches/stems. I used Hazel foraged from the garden but you can try finding Willow too

Twine/string

Florist wire

Foraged dried seeds & blooms to decorate

Luggage tags or alternative for the notes

Begin by bending your branch into shape.

I made 2 dream catchers one smaller than the other for a complimentary look. For a natural feel don't worry about the shape being perfect.

Secure with florist wire.

Then cover with twine.

Next you need to make your dream catching centre.

Begin by tying your twine to your branch.

Then at intervals around the inside tie again to the branch.

Once you have completed one round of tying, tie knots with the same twine in the middle of each string from the first round. This pulls the first round of twine into a triangle shape.

Continue to do this until you reach the centre.

And then tie off.

Now let's make this catcher super pretty.

To go with the paired back look I used foraged dried blooms and seeds. You could add feathers, beads or any garlands of your choice.

Arrange into a layout you are happy with.

Then secure with florist wire and twine.

To finish make a loop to hang your dream catcher using twine.

Now hang at your wedding and let your guests create their dreams for you.

Happy crafting lovelies XOXO Lou
