Oh, I just love this time of year, don't you?

London is so gorgeous at the moment (except when it rains!). It's getting cosy indoors, with candles and hearty dinners, and outside as the leaves continue to fall, there's a chill in the air, and the local market is filled with pumpkins, squash and autumn fruits.

With that in mind, today's post is all about autumnal edibles.

Last week, we swooned over pretty leaf adornments for fall weddings, and this week it's all about artichokes, apples, persimmons, pomegranates, and of course, pumpkins.

Stylish, rustic and quirky, choosing fruit and vegetable adornments (like selecting autumn leaves or summer foliage) is a cost-effective, and chic way to style your wedding without splashing out on pricey floristry or expensive props.

While gourds, artichokes and persimmons look perfectly pretty on their own, you can also get creative with white washing, gold spray paint, or maybe even a spot of calligraphy can take your fall fruits to another level.

Pair sage greens with orange fruits or paler pumpkins, add pomegranates and artichokes to your bouquets, or swap out centrepieces and escort cards for autumn staples - it's so easy to get creative with the unique shapes and pretty hues of fall foods.
