Pink and Gold Wedding Celebrating Life

Pink and Gold Wedding Celebrating Life

via

Elizabeth and Ross decided they wanted their big day to be a celebration of life. Ross' mom unfortunately passed away exactly two months before the wedding and they knew that their wedding could be nothing short of a celebration for her.

Appropriately, they had a bright themed wedding with some glitz. Pinks, corals and peach with splashes of gold made things perfectly lively and lovely. The day was full of fun elements that kept everyone smiling, from the photo booth guestbook to the champagne flute escort 'cards'. Be inspired by more elements of this day found in the full gallery here, captured by Dabble Me This.

Their wedding strategy

Ross and I were engaged in May 2013 and were so excited to plan our wedding. We ended up planning a July 2014 Chicago wedding. My bridesmaids picked out their own dresses and they turned out even more gorgeous together than I could have ever imagined. Ross and I picked out navy suits for the groomsmen that went perfect with the dresses and Ross chose a custom suit that I must say, made him look quite dapper! My sister, Laura, helped so much with all the DIY signs and champagne table seating chart that turned out amazing! With the help of a friend, Kim Clay (Clink: A Paper Company) we had some amazing personalized programs, table numbers & thank you cards! Michael Walters Orchestra helped us all party the night away and we could not suggest a more amazing Chicago band! And our photographer, Dabble Me This, was and is truly amazing. Our day and night was absolutely amazing. At one point a friend of mine told me to, "look around and take this all in...this is all for you!" That's one thing that I feel like could have been so easily forgotten. We are truly blessed and are so truly thankful.
