The leaves may be falling all around us, (and we'll have more about autumnal weddings next week!) but today's post is a breath sea air in summertime.

When Elizabeth first clapped eyes on Paige and Anthony's romantic, windswept engagement shoot, she fell in love, (then she showed me, and I was head over heels too!), so we're so excited and honoured that we get to share it with you

Captured by the incredible Bek and Ben of Kallima Photography, this engagement session feels like it was lifted from the pages of a magazine.

A gorgeous and super stylish couple in love, and all the glamour and adventure of setting sail on a boat for two; the perfect ingredients for a shoot that's equal doses chic, timeless, fun, and beautiful.

We chose a sailboat e-shoot for a few reasons. First Anthony and I both grew up on the water and it is very special to both of us. Second, I think sailboats are a symbol of adventure, and this being the best adventure of starting our lives together, I found it appropriate. I chose Bek and Ben because their photos are artistic and unique. I didn't want photos that looked like everyone else's. They both truly have an artistic eye and can see images that others can't. I believe this comes not only from natural ability, but from a lot of experience doing what they do. I could trust them because they have done it for so long. But over all, I think the reason I chose them as my photographers was because they know how to take initiative and direct the photography process. I HATE when photographers look to their clients for direction regarding what kind of pictures or poses to use during a session. Ant and I were able to relax, trust them and enjoy the process because we didn't have to micro manage them or be in control of something we know nothing about. That's their job. They just know what they are doing and it gave me great peace of mind.

Isn't it just spectacular? What an adorable couple, (what an fab bathing suit!) and I just loved Paige's advice on choosing a photographer you trust, so you can just sit back and enjoy your day together.
