It's Friday. (Yay!)

And we really couldn't let the week pass by without bringing you our favourite thing we spotted on Etsy this week.

As often happens when you're hunting around on Etsy, we found this one while we were looking for something entirely different.

But the minute we clapped eyes on it, we thought, "That's so awesome!" and we just knew we had to share it with you guys and add it to our Bridal Musings Etsy page, stat.

It's one cool cake cake topper.

The Find

This fun, Cupid's Arrow cake topper by Etsy's Icing101 would make the most gorgeous adornment on your wedding cake.

Perfect as centrepiece on a whimsical dessert table, or for making a stand out feature of a plain cake, (you could just use store-bought cakes with a topper this dramatic - nobody would know the difference!) we just love how quirky and romantic it is.

The Seller

The lady behind this gorgeous cake topper is Icing101, aka, Hannah, a Wisconsin mom who credits Etsy for allowing her to pursue a creative career, while being at home with her son.

While we're head over heels for her cake topper, Hannah's real expertise lie in accessory design, and her Etsy shop is filled with beautiful vintage-inspired designs, with ornate bridal belts, feather shoe clips (these are our favourites!), gorgeous masks, and fabulous headpieces, veils, and garters.

The Details

As for the arrow topper, Hannah says she hopes it will "Add some awesomeness to your cake!"

Coming in two 7.5inch pieces (so you won't have to clean off your arrow after you shoot it through!), the handmade topper is made with a wooden shaft and card stock for the 3D ends. The whole piece is carefully hand-painted and glittered with precision.

Icing101 create the arrows in gold, silver, pink and black, with various striping combinations, though Hannah says she loves custom orders and can create the arrows in different colours and sizes to suit the style of your wedding.
