Fall 2014 Interns

via

We're on the hunt for two fall interns! We're really looking forward to meeting some new faces - so please apply by the September 10th!

Every semester we welcome a new set of interns into the Bayside Bride Family! Our Internship Program is a volunteer opportunity where students and wedding savvy individuals, have the opportunity to work one-on-one with the Bayside Bride editors to form relationships and build their skill set while working for an expanding online brand! One awesome perk is that you'll have the opportunity to apply this as a college credit if your school accepts intern experience! Read more about one of our alum's time as a Bayside intern here! Who knows - you could be helping behind the scenes of a styled shoot or photo shoot!

Internship Positions
Interns at Bayside Bride have the opportunity to experience a little bit of everything. With guidance, you'll learn what goes into making a professional blog run! From social media and online networking to content creation, (aka putting together killer articles) you'll try it all. Applicants should possess general knowledge about Social Media Strategies including the ability to use Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and StumbleUpon. An excellent way to see Social Media in action and build experience managing a growing online corporate presence! Applicants should love to write and have an interest in wedding related content!

Duties will include working with Bayside Vendors to produce articles, writing on topics of interest, and taking an article from creative inception to publishing. Interns leave Bayside Bride with an online portfolio of their published works; a great resume building position! Concentrations of Study may include (but certainly are not limited to): Communications, Journalism, Writing, or potentially an interest in Event Design, Wedding Related Media, Marketing, Public Relations, or E-Business.

We would absolutely LOVE to have you as a part of the Bayside Bride family!

Born abroad, but raised as a Maryland girl through and through, Rebekah knew that her love for weddings made her a perfect fit for the Bayside Bride team. After interning for the blog in Fall of 2011 she worked hard to finish her degrees in English & Media and Communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Graduated and ready to return, she wants nothing more than to pass her love of event planning & weddings onto brides-to-be.
