Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not having what most people would call a traditional honeymoon.

The newlyweds will ring in their marital status by working together on their upcoming film "By the Sea" in Malta, an island country in the Mediterranean. But the movie is not exactly a romantic comedy.

"We are working together on a drama about grief and finding a way through a difficult marriage," Jolie told People magazine of the movie, which she wrote and will direct. "We find it very funny that it's our honeymoon."

The two actors wed in a small private ceremony on Saturday, August 23, at Chateau Miraval in France. The pair's six children played important roles in the wedding: Maddox and Pax walked their mother down the aisle, Zahara and Vivienne served as flower girls, and Shiloh and Knox were ring bearers.

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, told People. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."
