Family played an important role in Lauren and Reid's fall wedding. For their venue, the couple selected a spot that played a part in Lauren's parents' love story. "In 1977, my parents met at the Waterton Lions Hall during a summer when they were both working in Waterton," Lauren explains. "Every summer, the seasonal workers threw a big party called the Garbagemen's Ball and it was at that party that my parents first met. It was meaningful to us to celebrate the start of our marriage in the same location my parents started their relationship."

The couple's lineage also factored into their decor alongside cheerful pops of yellow and lovely rustic accents. "We included a photo of each of our parents and grandparents at their weddings," says Lauren. "We wanted to recognize the people and relationships we want to model our marriage on."

When it comes to the best moment of the day, the couple agrees it was having the opportunity to celebrate with so many cherished friends and family members. "It was an amazing experience to have everyone we love in one room together and we took full advantage of it by celebrating with them late into the night," says Lauren.
