In an effort to improve our post-baby social life, Ryan and I had the idea to start hosting Sunday get togethers for our friends. I love planning menus and cooking for lots of people (though I usually forget something important and find myself scrambling at the last minute), and having people over is great motivation to make our house look less like it's inhabited by frat boys. Thankfully our friends are generally pretty forgiving when they're well-fed... Anyway, we're kicking it off this weekend, and against all advice, I'm trying a couple new recipes for dessert: berry hand pies and sweet corn ice cream. Wish me luck! And have a nice, long weekend!
