Lunchtime Link Round-Up | Have a Lovely Weekend!

Lunchtime Link Round-Up | Have a Lovely Weekend!

via

Fridays used to be days when I shared a little about what was going on with me, and then some fave links from my web browsing that week, and then (cliché warning) I had a baby and had a hard time coming up with things to say. Certainly part of that could be attributed to baby brain and lack of sleep and not being able to think straight long enough to form complete sentences even in simple face-to-face interactions. But I think it's also partly due to the fact that a huge part of my life now revolves around Caroline, and I'm a) not sure how much of her I want to share with the internets and b) not sure how much the internets wants to hear about mama/baby stuff. Or at least, not here on a wedding blog. Also, if I'm being honest, it's Friday. Doesn't your brain just kind of want to kick back and have a cocktail, because mine does. I still want to do some more personal writing in some form or another; these weekend link round-ups just aren't the place for it, and I'm not quite sure where is.

So, while I'm figuring that out, please enjoy these links, and have a lovely weekend! And if you've actually read all of this and have a (kindly-worded) opinion, I'm all ears!

If you're in Denver you have to check out The Bumblebee Truck! Okay, okay, it's my sister's dessert truck (yes that's her, she's adorable, it's annoying), and that's why I can tell you: the sweets are insanely good! Pic by Christina McNeill.

I don't have a Cricut but these shadow puppets make me want one.

Chic leather clutch for a chic bride.

How to bake a bread balloon.

Inspired by this hairstylist who spends his Sundays cutting hair for the homeless.

The long term affects of bad news.

New snack that I wasn't sure about but now I'm kind of addicted: Toasted Sesame + Seaweed Popcorn.

Beyoncé wasn't built in a day. This definitely needed to be put on a t-shirt.

A simply modern wedding announcement.

And a simply darling wedding invitation.

What is this leaf? Amazing!

It wouldn't be weekend links without a s'more recipe. Or two. Introducing: peanut butter s'mOreos and s'mores pretzel hand pies.

And, in case you missed it on the blog this week:

Romantic autumn wedding in New York from Trent Bailey.
How to build an awesome wedding welcome bag.
Timeless Russian wedding in Chicago from Clary Pfeiffer.
