So every time we share the work of a talented bunch of vendors it's pretty wonderful, but today's two-part inspiration shoot is even more special than usual.

A gorgeous nostalgic take on a 1964 wedding, complete with a vintage style dress, blooms inspired from weddings of yore and old school cake and cocktails on retro furniture.

The work of the fabulous CeCe + Honey Photography and the wonderful The Eventful Life, this shoot captures all the excitement of a young couple in love.

Then in a two-for-the-price-of-one, two parter, we've also got some utterly special golden anniversary inspiration, with a look at how this stylish sixties pair might renew their vows, 50 years on.

A pretty cool idea, don't you think?

Well hand you over to Kpoene ' from The Eventful Life, to explain how it all came about.

As wedding vendors, we're all highly involved with the very first day of a married couple's life together. We believe in the magic of putting together the ideal day for two people in love, but we also value what this day really means: committing to a lifetime of love. It was this idea that inspired our team of vendors to do a 2-in-1 combination of wedding inspiration that celebrates a vintage wedding in 1964, and the corresponding 50th anniversary party in today's world. Everyone involved took to heart the idea of honoring the past while relishing current trends. Our florist used inspiration from her own parents' wedding to create period-accurate florals. The venue for the shoot is a renovated firehouse that now serves as an event space and photo studio. The dresses worn in both settings are from Mignonette Bridal, a designer who knows how to take the best of vintage fashion and bring it to today's brides. And, of course, our vintage rental team had a blast creating two tablescapes out of their extensive china collection.

Isn't it sweet! That coconut cake looks so pretty, and I love the retro cocktails and oh-so-stylish bride and groom attire.
