From Cory Weber: "Inspired by the natural beauty of the season change from spring to summer in Northern Michigan, we aimed to create an atmosphere that emphasized the natural gifts of the season. We were specifically inspired by our state flower, the trillium, foraged morel mushrooms, and soft woodland light. The dress, designed by Kendal Leonard Designs was an elegant choice with clean lines and organic cotton fabric. Bloom Floral Design created the textural arrangements with flowers and greenery from her farm to blend in with the forest. The welcome basket includes treasures from Northern Michigan; local raw honey, foraged ramps and morels. We want to tell the story of Northern Michigan in this season - when the earth comes alive and everyone feels a bit lighter."
