Did anyone catch Maleficent yet? We're still dying to see it, and today's stunning styled shoot only makes us want to see it more! The creatives behind this beauty (photographer Meg Sexton + the girls at The Petal Company) wanted the overall feel to be darker + more dramatic, to capture the vibe of the film. Their hope was to combine the two contrasting styles portrayed in the movie: dark versus light; Maleficent against Princess Aurora. With two brides and only one groom, who will prevail? Good? Or Evil?

The moody palette, decadent details, pretty dresses + ethereal florals, make this shoot a fun + unique form of wedding inspiration, especially perfect for fall + winter weddings!

We're not sure which we love more: those dramatic cakes or the vintage hutch their set up on - a piece from Milk Glass Vintage Rentals ' inventory.
