I don't often feature straight up inspiration styled wedding shoots as I prefer to show you guys real couples doing real things for their real weddings... But this shoot sent over by wedding photographer Laura Babb was so packed full of cute ideas, many of which I'd never seen before (multi-faceted gem covered wedding cake, hello!) that I couldn't resist posting them.

"I put this shoot together with Alex from The Bijou Bride ", Laura told me. "We basically wanted to play around with sparkly things and confetti canons in a cool warehouse location for the day. We wanted to bring together two big trends in weddings this year; geometrics and mixed metals and to work with a mixture of textures to create something contemporary, stylish but also fun."

"We used a real couple with no modelling experience to make the shoot more relatable. The shoot features gowns from the new Vera Wang collection for David's Bridal, as well as a bespoke outfit from Federica Bruno, a UK based independent designer."
