This session from fine art photographer Michele Beckwith shows us the best of both worlds. A city engagement adventure in Chinatown as well as a dreamy beach bridal session!

From Michele: "After graduating from art school with a degree in Graphic design, Eric spent this past year interning and gaining valuable experience at local San Francisco startups. His fiance Anna also wrapped up her university studies abroad and soon after joined him here in the city. Next week they are moving back to Taiwan and will be celebrating their wedding with family and friends later this summer. However before they left, the couple wanted a special engagement session that captured both a little slice of their life here in the city and the beauty that only the California Coast can offer. Anna and Eric live close to Union Square so all we had to do was stroll out their front door to capture some of the urban landscape. After getting a rooftop view of the city, we started exploring the streets of Chinatown. They were bursting with vibrant colors and festive decorations leftover from the Chinese New Year parade several days before. Since they are getting married indoors at a hotel back in Taiwan, they wanted a very natural setting for the bridal portraits. I took them to one of my favorite Marine Preserves just south of the city. From there we wandered the trails and beaches in search of pretty light and romance."
