Drawing inspiration from the paintings of John Singer Sargent, Monique Lhuillier's latest collection, entitled "My Ethereal Daydream," displayed a gorgeous range of silhouettes with intricate beading and extraordinary texture. The collection boasted an array of curve-hugging, fit-and-flare styles, alongside elegant A-line silhouettes and voluminous ball gowns with tiered tulle skirts. Sheer and embroidered shrugs as well as high illusion necklines, including portrait and keyhole styles, dominated Lhuiller's latest line. The collection included a delicate coverlet over embellished tulle and modest, embroidered long sleeves paired with an ultra-feminine front slit skirt. Lhuillier also showcased her undeniable eye for detail through exquisite embroidery and impeccable beadwork, which appeared throughout the collection and in standout designs such as a glittering strapless, ivory beaded tulle trumpet gown with a charming sweetheart neckline. With spring in mind, Lhuillier added a pop of colour to her stunning collection with gowns in pastels hues, including one stand-out blue creation.
