Styled shoots very quickly became a very popular phenomenon in the wedding industry and we at Wedding Friends encourage every creative shoot. Styled shoots are the perfect platform for every supplier to test their creativity and to create with creative freedom. Styled shoots are collaborative projects where all suppliers collide to create magic. These shoots are filled with new and fresh ideas that sets new trends in the industry. Today we are sharing the Gliterazzi styled shoot that was created under coordination of Lovilee, Match Set Love and Moi Decor. Together with a great team a stunning shoot was created. Enjoy it with us!

Trending the 2014 wedding scene is the move towards sparkle + shine, the inspiration behind the 'Glitterazzi' styled wedding shoot, commissioned by KaRi from Lovilee. Wanting to showcase how one could add glitz and glam to any special day we opted to do a two part shoot, namely a candy table and then a model shoot, both of which took place at the Irene Dairy Farm in Pretoria.

All of the participants received an on-line brief and link to a Pinterest board. They were given free reign to come up with ideas and contribute to the day with the only specifications being sparkles and shades of pink.

We wanted to set up the table in one of the gravel roads on the property, but there was soooo much rain that week that it ended up being a total mud bath! Photographer, Melanie Wessels worked her magic to make the images look gorgeous and Carike Ridout assisted. Inge from The Cake Cartel supplied the treats + cake, which was not only pretty to look at but also delicious!

The décor + styling was a joint effort by KaRi from Lovile e, Carla from Moi Decor and Liezel from Match Set Love. Each of us contributed with something that we designed or made ourselves. There were glitter cherries by Carla from Moi Decor. Ruffles and details by KaRi and lastly the 'fabulous poster' by Liezel from Match Set Love, available in her on-line store. The 'LOVE' white wooden letters used were from TYPO.

Match Set Love created little pockets for sparklers that can be used by the guests at the first dance. And the favours were little Golden pockets sewn at the sides with sayings in, similar to fortune cookies. For confetti we opted to use Confetti pops or Push-pop confetti, available for order if you'd like with labels printed and designed by Match Set Love.

Natalie Field from Pace Model Management was our model on the day and Sarah from Swoon did her hair and make-up. There were 3 different looks, all with glitter, glitter and glitter and totally FAB! For the first look we chose a short dress by Hoiden with touches of Lace to the top, combined with ankle boots {perfect for the mud!}.

For the second look we opted to used a simple material flower as hairpiece instead of a veil. The dress was again by Hoiden, with a lace detail at the top, but this time long sleeves. We added a 'LOVE' badge available from 87 Design here. The bashews are from Moi Decor's rental catalogue and the paper straws from their retail outlet.

For the last look we used KaRi's sisters' wedding dress of 10 years ago! It was such a beaut and we were really excited to take it out of the cupboard! All of the gorgeous bouquets were done by Vividly Vintage.
