Amy and Jamie really wanted to keep their wedding in the city, but they needed a venue that would suit both of their personalities. "Jamie is a little more traditional, I love style and glamour, and amazing food was very important to both of us," Amy explains. "When we saw the Arcadian Court it was the first place we both instantly loved."

The couple selected a colour palette of pink and champagne and these hues were incorporated into everything from the invitations and attire to the decor and flowers.

Although Amy would use "classic" as a term to describe her big day, her blush pink dress and all-male bridal party were definitely on the unconventional side.

"I'm sure some people may have wondered why I didn't have any ladies in my party - I have lots of great girlfriends, but Ryan, my man of honour, and Lee, my bridesman are absolutely my people," shares Amy. "I speak to them pretty much everyday. They've been with me for good and bad, and really, the day of, those are the people you want standing next to you." Amy also had her daughter, Elle, carried down the aisle during the ceremony wearing a frilly pink dress similar to her wedding gown.

Amy loved using Pinterest and Etsy as tools for her wedding inspiration. "Instead of a traditional guest book I found a company ( Once Upon a Paper) that creates a tree style piece of artwork that people can sign," she said. "They work with you to customize according to your colours and the piece came out beautifully."
