Moody Entomology Wedding Inspiration in an Abandoned Greenhouse

Moody Entomology Wedding Inspiration in an Abandoned Greenhouse

We're all for the airiness of a romantic, lighthearted affair, but as soon as this gorgeous shoot by Flora + Fauna + Liz Stewart Floral Design graced our inbox, we were immediately smitten with their unique + moody design perspective. The gals wanted to stray away from a standard styled shoot and craft something that had a darker + more dramatic vibe. And while Entomology (the scientific study of insects!) might not be a theme you're thinking of incorporating into the design of your wedding day, we're absolutely certain you'll find bits + pieces from this pretty editorial to pin + be inspired by!

Gah, that gold K. Hendrix bolero! We're so in love with it and the bride's whole look. Argie Mitra, kudos on some expert wardrobe styling!

Love that giant paper rose? We do and have a DIY here to create one yourself! :)

Curious about this stunning location? The Glen Venue, located in St. Mary, Florida, is a working nursery + wedding venue with an incredible abandoned greenhouse on the property!

The table was set with fun, antique knick knacks, like old floral "frogs" and the prettiest plates + tableware from Anthropologie + West Elm. The cicada details were provided by Jenn from Cetonia Designs.

And love this naked cake, decorated with blooms + berries!

So there you have it! 1920′s glam meets moody Entomology design. A pretty combo, don't you think? Thanks so much to everyone below for sharing their talents with us today!
