A multinational French and Chinese fusion wedding at the University of Chicago

Qiyan came to the United States from Beijing, China a few years ago to pursue her PhD. Antoine was born in France and lived there before coming to the U.S. for his PhD. They met, combined their lives, and had a multifaith, multicultural, and multinational wedding on the gorgeously gothic campus of the University of Chicago.

Qiyan made her own gown and designed the invitations just three months before the wedding all while also defending her dissertation! Guests flew in from France, China, Australia, and San Francisco, and they live-streamed the ceremony for Qiyan's parents, making it a truly international affair. The reception took place at The Smart Museum of Art with a French-infused menu and a sweet lily pad and turtle cake, and we couldn't be more entranced.
