Creative Bridesmaid Asks

Creative Bridesmaid Asks

Bridesmaids. The women in your life that you love, value and are (hopefully) so thrilled to have by your side on the day you say "I do." They're going to be with you throughout the wedding planning adventure, searching for the perfect dress, participating in bridal shower games and leading the way to the dance floor - and while a "will you be my bridesmaid?" over the phone or a cup of coffee is all these women need to jump to your support, sometimes it's nice to up the ante. Here are five of our favorite ways to plan a proposal of your own.

1. The traditional card, but cuter. This Rifle Paper Co. card, which you can find online here, is just about perfect...and maid of honor and flower girl cards in the same style are only a click away.

2. A will-you-be-my-bridesmaid box. All it takes is a little bit of thought and a kraft paper box. Include things like a handwritten note, nail polish in one of your wedding colors, or a miniature bottle of Champagne.

3. DIY it. From handmade cards to glitter-covered bottles of bubbly, the thought here is what really counts.

4. Something sweet. These personalized chocolate bars are simple, pretty and perfect for alleviating wedding planning stress.

5. Hang it up. Whether or not your maids are picking personalized dresses, they can still place their gowns on a hanger of their own. Bonus: custom hangers make for a fun wedding day photo!
