Bohemian Inspired Country Styled Wedding Shoot

Bohemian Inspired Country Styled Wedding Shoot

via

I do love a styled shoot especially when it involves the countryside, beautiful flowers and a HOT man! Just look at those come to bed eyes in the above shot ladies. Mmmmmm!

There is a lot to love about this Country Wedding shoot put together by Abi Gray and Camilla Felgate. The styling of the bride with her scooped up boho hair and gorgeous make-up is very Festival Brides and those flowers look like they've just been picked from a wildflower meadow.

The setting, with the mist creeping across the fields (cue hot smoldering man) is beautiful and adds a subtle moodiness to the images which works perfectly. Abi and Camilla - we salute you!

This shoot illustrates that a simple bow in the hair or an image of you and your beau lying on a white cotton blanket can be enough to create a gorgeous bridal look or wedding photo. Your wedding decor or bridal look doesn't have to be complicated to be memorable.

Abi tells us more about the shoot.....

The theme for this shoot happened quite organically. I had bought a couple of dresses along and Camilla had sourced two locations, one in a local town and one in a field, so when I saw the two bouquets our wonderful florist had supplied it made sense to do a 'Town and Country' style shoot. One of the bouquets was reds and hot pinks whilst the other was more natural with daisies and foliage. These shots are from the 'Country' part of the shoot. Getting these shots involved all of us climbing over a fence on a drizzly, grey day at the end of November and keeping a field's worth of cows away from our models. Our Bride, Hannah, wore a vintage wedding dress which was actually my Mother's wedding dress. It was so lovely to see it again and although the zip was broken I actually like the little bit of exposed back. I finished the look with vintage clip on earrings and a white ribbon bow I'd made myself in her hair. The weather and location meant heels were out of the question so Hannah kept her own Converse on, which I actually love! Her hair was a sort of messy beehive which Sheree created before adding the bow at the back. The make up was done by both Sheree and Camilla and consisted of flawless skin, strong brows and dusky pink lids. Our Bridesmaid, Jasmine, wore a beautiful full length dress of hot pinks and purples. Due to the wonderful colour match, she had the bouquet from the 'Town' part of our shoot which looked wonderful. As it was a cold day she had been wearing the teal cardigan to keep warm but it looked good with her DM's so we left it on. I love the bold mix of the pinks, purple and reds with the teal. The flower in her hair had fallen off the bouquet earlier in the day and was the perfect finishing touch. Her hair was left down and tousled and Sheree added some baby pink hair spray and a small plait. Our lovely Groom, Shahmir, wore his own suit, open at the collar, with a gorgeous little buttonhole made to match the Bride's bouquet.
