Real Wedding: Emily and Mark in Mooloolaba

Real Wedding: Emily and Mark in Mooloolaba

via

It was a quick engagement for Emily and Mark, who planned their Mooloolaba wedding in only 7 months. Having known each other for 14 years since meeting at church, they simply did not see the need to muck about. The beautiful bride says they each complement one another and they are, quite simply, best friends. Aw!

Mark's pastor dad married the pair at Penny Lane Park, and then they kicked on with a shin dig at waterfront venue, Mooloolaba Surf Club. Their strict budget of $10,000 stretched to accommodate 100 guests, who started the day with a super sweet treat of fairy floss while they anticipated the bride's arrival.

The bride styled the wedding herself with cute little touches, such as scrabble pieces, vintage books and hessian touches for a little coastal rustic charm. The day was captured beautifully by Sunshine Coast photographer, Kristy Whittington from A Look Photography.
