There is nothing that lifts my mood faster than seeing a gorgeously sunny Mediterranean wedding arriving in our inbox. We’ve had so many pretty ones lately that I’ve been rapidly gathering images for this ocean wedding inspiration board. A destination wedding works best when inspired by its setting, and the coasts surrounding the Mediterranean have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The view from the cliffs of this wedding in Sorrento was my eye candy this week. A great way to take advantage of shades that work especially well with a pre-wedding tan is to include turquoise and gold in your wedding palette. These colours are a classic combination and perfect for a sunny wedding abroad. Check out the bright glitter turquoise shoes below- they are actually DIY from Something Turquoise. How pretty are they? I’m loving the elegantly simple gold place names too. Proteas are such a pretty choice for a slightly exotic bouquet, and the splash of colour on the cake by Sweet and Saucy Shop below immediately brings the ocean to mind. You won’t need too much colour with a brilliant blue sky as your backdrop, but a vivid touch here and there will definitely go a long way!
