Introducing The Style Guide

Hello you lovely things!  This morning I’m extremely excited to unveil a new feature that the b.team and I have been working hard on behind the scenes over the last few months!  It’ just over a year since I first introduced the team, and with the addition of four new team members in 2013, we felt it was time to move forward and showcase their talents.  We are always looking for new ways to bring you new, exciting and fresh content, and our new series will do just that!

Each month we will be showcasing a different wedding look using images from our very own monthly shoots, and sharing our ideas, inspirations an advice to help you re-create your own w-day style.  From the pretty stuff like bouquets, stationery, makeup and bridal fashion; to expert tips and advice on venues, planning and photography we’ll be sharing everything we know about creating the perfect look!  On the first Monday of each month I’ll unveil the look and inspiration for the weeks ahead, with The Style Guide posts coming to you twice a day on Tuesdays!  At the end of each month a pdf download will be available, featuring exclusive content, advice and images from the team for you to save, print and use as a reference throughout your planning too!

We’re kicking off the entire series with a modern update of a classic Autumnal wedding:  Welcome to The Autumn Issue.

Bourbon Spice // Heritage Vegetables // Succulent and Rose Bouquet // Black & Gold Centrepiece // Bride // Stationery // Place Setting // Toffee Apples // Rustic Autumn Bouquet

The Autumn Edit is inspired by the falling leaves of short, blustery days.  The season calls for warmth as we embrace the change in season with cosy knits and fireside Sunday lunches.  The classic colours of autumn, rich and earthy copper, burnt orange and gold tones create an instant rustic feel, but a pop of black and bright metallics instantly updates the look from classic to contemporary.  This month we’ll discover designs for contemporary stationery with an updated classic look, bouquets that balance rustic texture with modern style and Autumn fashion for bride and bridesmaids, as well as expert advice on choosing the perfect wedding venue for the season, how the short days affect your photography session and delicious dishes to keep your guests happy, and lots, lots more!

I can’t wait to share what we’ve got in store!  You’ll find all the latest posts in The Style Guide category.
