I love something different so this car park engagement shoot from Adam Ward Photography really tickled my fancy. It took one, very ordinary car park and created a set of incredible engagement photographs!

Beth kicks off the story with how they met. “We met in our final years of high school, one year apart. A mutual friend introduced us and a few weeks later we were dating.”

“We’ve done a lot of growing up together, but we still make sure to have fun and be silly no matter what we are doing or where we are. Everything in our lives is changing, but we make sure to keep the elements that made us fall for each other in the first place.”

As to how he proposed, Harley recounts, “I surprised Beth with a room full of hanging envelopes, each with notes and photos from different stages of the five years we had been together. She was annoyed at me beforehand, because I had ruined social plans in order to surprise her, but things quickly changed once she had seen everything.”

Of their shoot location, the couple tell “We didn’t want to the stock standard engagement shoot and our photographer suggested the location. Our wedding will be at the Brisbane Powerhouse which has a similar vibe, so it was great practice for Adam.”
