Hi readers! Honestly, I have no idea where this year has gone! August already & although we’ve still got a few weeks of sunny weather left to enjoy, my attention is already beginning to turn to the rich berry palettes of Autumn.  I blame the high street, where as soon as the first rays of sunshine appeared every maxi dress and sun hat was ripped off the rails in exchange for cosy jumpers and knitted dresses. Sigh.  There’s no reason you couldn’t turn this juicy palette into a celebration of summer though, pump up the pink and bring out the gold to add some shimmering sunlight to the palette.

This palette would work perfectly in a barn setting or sumptuous traditional manor house interior, the balance of classic tones and a contemporary pop of colour keeping the look fresh.  Blousey, rich pink roses & ranunculus and velvety deep purple dahlia’s & chrysanthemums look stunning in coloured vases and gold votives to add a touch of glamour to your tables and look perfect against a gorgeous aubergine Twobirds Bridesmaids dress.
