We have all seen that less-than-flattering photo of ourselves that make us ask “is that what my nose really looks like?” If your nose is making you feel more like Cyrano De Bergerac than Charlize Theron, this little contouring trick is going to change your life—no scalpel necessary! Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to tweak your beak! 

Step 1: Apply makeup as usual.

Step 2: Using a crease brush like Smashbox #10 and a matte bronzer (try Lancôme Star Bronzer in Matte), brush the bronzer from the inner corner of the eyebrow to the end of your nose.

Step 3: Repeat step 2 on the other side of your nose.

Step 4: Apply bronzer to the tip of your nose. This step actually creates the illusion that your nose is shorter.

Step 5: Using a blender brush such as MAC 224, gently blend out any harsh edges along the sides of your nose.

Step 6: Repeat step 5 on the other side of your nose.

Step 7: Blend out the tip of your nose until no edge is visible.

Step 8: Using your finger and a highlighter (try Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder), softly blend a small amount on the upper bridge of your nose. Be careful not to extend it to far down the nose. 

Step 9: Go get your close-up on!
